The Great Influenza: The Epic Story of the Deadliest Plague in History - Scott Brick, John M. Barry One of the problems with audiobooks is that you hear every single word, so poor writing and bad editing are impossible to ignore. I'm interested in this subject, but the repetition, the scattershot narrative and long dull sections are making it a tedious book to listen to.I wish I could skip the first 100 pages, as another reviewer recommended, but that's probably about the place where I gave up. I'm going to borrow the print version and see if it gets any better. That way I can just let my eyes skate over the boring bits.
